Thefashioncontest.com is pleased to announce the winners of the second edition of the contest:

1^st Prize: Pauline Basset, ESMOD Roubaix, France

Pauline's designs are inspired from Japan's traditional costumes. Pauline studies fashion design in ESMOD, Roubaix in France. Pauline wins a prize consisting of $1,500.

2^nd Prize: Amandine Balbeur, ISELL Mode - Liege, Belgium

Amandine's designs are inspired from Poland's traditional costumes. Amandine studies at ISELL Mode in Liege, Belgium. She wins a prize consisting of $1,000.

3^rd Prize: Heewon Shin, Academy of Art University, San Francisco

Heewon's designs are inspired from Korea's traditional costumes. Heewon studies at the Academy of Art University, in San Francisco, US. She wins a prize consisting of $500.

The winners will be contacted by June 9, 2008 to arrange for the reception of their prize. All participants to the second edition of the contest will receive by email a copy of the winners' announcement, featuring illustrations of the winning designs.
